Your knees are giving out and you've been thinking of getting knee replacement.
My mother died as a result of a staff infection gotten from a knee revision surgery performed by the 3Bs Orthopedic Group of the Pennsylvania Hospital, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She was 80 years old in August 2007, by December 20, 2007 she was given 7 operations under general anesthesia, including 'wound debridements' or cleaning out of the wound because it kept on draining.
My question is:
Was it necessary for Dr. Booth of the 3bs Orthopedics Group to torture my mother at her age with 7 operations?
She had other medical problems which made her a very likely candidate to get this staff infection. Everything I've read on the internet about knee revisions points to these factors as being contributory to her infection.
I am writing an expose on this orthopedic group and their treatment of my mother.
I want the world to know the callous, irresponsible way they dismissed her and how she became an amputee on February 11, 2008, in the last stage of her life.
I will post ALL her hospital and doctor notes on the website in her honor.
I will make them available for public scrutiny and invite comments and opinions from you as to the possible negligence of many health care 'professionals' in providing even the most rudementary care.
My mother counts on you to have her voice be heard!
